Byrne’s school work called into question

I am becoming involved in politics for the first time due to my interest in the PACT scandal and its affect on my children. I am looking at those who were involved in the decision making that let PACT sink to see why it happened.

Interestingly, I found in the public record that Bradley Byrne, who is running for governor, was rarely in attendance at the PACT board meetings, of which he was a member. I did the math and he only attended 30 percent of the 10 meetings held while he was on the board. He attended the first meeting as well as the last two until he resigned to run for governor. The other seven times, he sent someone else or no one at all.

I can’t believe the Republican party is backing this man and I may have to consider giving my vote elsewhere.
