Murderer sentenced

Posted: Tuesday, January 18, 2011 3:21 pm | Updated: 4:00 pm, Wed Jan 19, 2011.

In an emotionally charged courtroom Tuesday morning, Nathan Wilder, of Fort Payne, pleaded guilty to the 2009 murder of his estranged wife, 28-year-old Elizabeth Virginia Wilder, by strangulation.

He was sentenced to serve 25 years in the state penitentiary as part of a plea deal. Wilder will be eligible for parole after serving 15 years. The plea entered Tuesday represents the reversal of an earlier plea by Wilder of not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. Wilder was previously scheduled to stand trial next month.

If that had been my duaghter, the only deal to be made would be for me after I put a bullet in his head. No women, No children. And his kids are screwed for life.
We need some old west justice in this country. Then these low lifes would reap what they sow.
