Teachers in arms? Local administrators think not

The holidays are over, students are back in school and many have come home to talk of lockdown drills they’ve practiced in the first days back.

In the aftermath of the Sandy Hook tragedy, people at every level — from parents and teachers to administrators and legislators — are talking about what needs to be done to protect students while on school grounds.
