Driver extricated at scene of accident at Joe's Truck Stop

BREAKING NEWS: An truck drove into a house earlier today at Joe's Truck Stop in Fort Payne. The driver - described as a black male - was injured.

According to DeKalb Ambulance Service Director Mark Ford, following an extensive extrication - the "most complex he's seen in 30 years" - the driver was taken by Life Force to Chattanooga. He was responsive, in stable condition, with injuries unknown. Ford said the fire department's handling of the extrication was superior.
