Fowler resigns as Fyffe police chief

Town now down to 1 full-time officer

Posted: Tuesday, October 2, 2012 1:10 pm | Updated: 9:17 am, Wed Oct 3, 2012.

Chief Jake Fowler resigned from the Fyffe Police Department on Monday.

His resignation ended a nearly year-long feud between his department and Fyffe Mayor Katy Woodall. Fowler was suspended for two weeks in December, and officers Anthony Majusiak and Brian Warren were terminated by Woodall in July.
