What am I talking about? I'm talking about how the whole North Alabama community pays way too much attention to some media idiot in Huntsville and what the weather is SUPPOSED to be...

I'm talking about the fact that 99% of the time that schools close for "weather", the parents and kids don't go home, they go to Walmart or somewhere else...usually shopping. Yes, I know, it's a free country and all that. But it's clear there really is no apparent danger from the weather, so people go on living their lives. Meanwhile, in other areas and countries, the kids there are getting a much better education and the kids in NE Alabama are working on 3rd grade math while in the 7th grade.

I'm sure all the shopping areas are completely empty, as are private business parking lots.

What a ridiculous situation this is. The government shouldn't be in the education business any longer.

Alright! Snow day! I'll be teaching little Joe Dirt Jr. how to write his name in the snow.
