Massacre in Connecticut Locals say stricter gun control laws not the answer

Friday morning began tragically for citizens in the small town of Newtown, Conn., when a gunman entered Sandy Hook Elementary School and opened fire, killing at least 26 people, including 20 children, reported to be between the ages of 5 and 10.

The Associated Press reported the killer, armed with two handguns, committed suicide and another person was found dead at a second scene, bringing the death toll to 28, according to authorities.
