McGill proposes new gun bill

Posted: Thursday, January 31, 2013 4:31 pm

Agents who attempt to enforce federal laws on guns made, sold and owned in the state would be subject to arrest under a bill proposed by state Sen. Shadrack McGill.

McGill, R-Macedonia, said he plans to introduce a bill that renders void any federal law that attempts to ban semiautomatic firearms or limits the size of a magazine of a firearm or any other limitation on firearms in Alabama.

Afraid you are wrong there...just an educated redneck who can't understand why anyone needs an assault rifle? Sorry if you are offended--- we do have the constituional right of freedom of speech, too.

pollyp the north would collapse if that happened. from your state of mind you must not be from alabama. why don't you just leave it if you don't like people having a right to own guns. there's a few major crime city's where there's unconstitutional gun bans , you would fit right in.

[thumbdown] Why don't we just try to secede again? I think this bill is ridiculous.

going by the constitution the government doesn't have any right to ban guns whether they are made in the state or not. your unconstitutional laws were made to be broke and no you ant going to do any thing about it.
