Mrs. David Sue Jones Killian, 70, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Collinsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She simply went to sleep in our arms to wake in her new home that Jesus went to prepare for those who believe in Him. She was a Christian.
She was born Sept. 9, 1943, to David and Ethel Martin Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. hour of service. A committal service will be held Wednesday morning, Oct. 30, at Lebanon Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, L. Wayne Killian; their daughter and son-in-law, Neena and Patrick Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Angela Killian; grandson, Corey Killian; sister, Shirley Jones Clifton; nieces, nephews, and a host of brothers and sisters in Christ from Trinity, Daniel’s Chapel and Tucker’s Chapel Methodist churches and Beulah Baptist Church, where her husband had pastored from more than 32 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Shawn Killian.
