Ms. Evelyn Sue Evatt, 94, of Fort Payne, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at her home.
Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Walker’s Chapel Cemetery with Larry Kirby, Robbie Eversol and Mark Dawson officiating.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Hegwood (John) and Gaynell Woodall (B.M.); son, Larry Evatt (Fran); brother Ross Works; sisters Edith Head and Faye Parker; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Flabe Evatt; parents, I.W. and Ollie Mae Works; brothers Ralph and Ray Works; and sister Blanche Brown.
Pallbearers will be Charles Young, Luke Young, Chance Young, Dale Cole, Donald Cole and Greg Works.
