Bryant-Jordan scholarship program reaches $1 million mark

BIRMINGHAM — The Bryant-Jordan Student-Athlete Scholarship Program has achieved a significant milestone by reaching $1 million in total funds available annually to high school student-athletes across Alabama.

“This is a remarkable accomplishment,” said Edgar Welden, chairman/president of the Bryant-Jordan Foundation, “especially when you consider that this program began with $500 awarded to 48 scholar-athletes and has now grown to $1 million in scholarships available to Bryant-Jordan winners and nominees.
