FORT PAYNE – The No. 2-ranked Fort Payne Wildcats punched their ticket to Huntsville after escaping with a heart wrenching 1-0 win Friday over the No. 5 Florence Falcons in the third round of the Class 6A State Playoffs.

Lady Rams win 6th and 7th straight

The Class 1A-3A No. 13-ranked Sylvania Lady Rams picked up their sixth and seventh consecutive wins last Thursday at Crossville and Tuesday at St. Bernard by a combined score of 13-1.
