Fire destroys home

Published December 10, 2009

A mobile home was destroyed in a fire early Thursday morning, according to Hammondville Town Clerk Debra Graves.

Graves said the fire started about 5:30 a.m. at the home of Jackie Grisham on County Road 756.

Graves said Grisham and a female were in the home at the time of the fire, but were able to escape without injury.

Graves said the home was a total loss.
