Plainview tennis teams sweep Ramsay at NACC From staff reports The Times-Journal Published March 9, 2009 The Plainview boys picked up a 9-0 victory over Ramsay in high school tennis Saturday at Northeast Alabama Community College. Eduardo DeSouza (9-7 at No. 1), Taylor Horton (8-4 at No. 2), Jacob Malone (8-2 at No. 3), Cole Wagner (8-1 at No. 4), Jordan Dover (8-0 at No. 5) and Nathan Pierson (forfeit at No. 6) picked up singles wins. In doubles, DeSouza and Horton (8-2 at No. 1), Malone and Wagner (8-0 at No. 2) and Dover and Pierson (forfeit at No. 3) all prevailed. GIRLS: The Plainview girls downed Ramsay 8-1. Alex Poole (8-6 at No. 1), Katie McCreless (8-1 at No. 2), Taylor Pack (8-0 at No. 4), Casey Miller (8-3 at No. 5) and Cassidy Hood (forfeit at No. 6) earned singles wins for Plainview.
