Tennis roundup: Plainview girls fall

Plainview dropped two of three doubles matches and fell to Oneonta 5-4 in girls’ high school tennis at Northeast Alabama Community College on Monday.

The teams split six singles matches.

Alex Poole (8-4 at No. 1), Katie McCreless (9-7 at No. 2) and Taylor Pack (8-4 at No. 4) picked up singles win for the Lady Bears. Poole and McCreless prevailed 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.

BOYS: The Plainview boys fell to Oneonta 7-2.

Jacob Malone won 8-2 for the Bears at No. 3 singles. Teammates Eduardo DeSouza and Taylor Horton prevailed 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
