Wilson and Fiquett Family Dentistry offers free dental care yearly.

Wilson and Fiquett Family Dentistry in Fort Payne will be hosting its sixth annual Free Dental Dentistry From the Heart event March 16 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration will begin at 7 a.m.

Dentistry From The Heart began with Dr. Vincent Monticciolo as a way to give back to the community by providing dental care to the vast number of Americans without dental insurance. Since its beginning, the non-profit organization has grown to include over 200 annual events nationwide.

According to dentistryfromtheheart.org their mission, “is to reach out to those in need of dental care, who are unable to afford it. We want everyone to have beautiful smiles, and through the hundreds of events that take place in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Puerto Rico we make that happen.”

“This is the day when we give back to a community that has been so wonderful to us,” stated Wilson & Fiquett Family Dentistry.

To receive dental care, Patients must be 18 years and older and have no dental insurance.

Patients will be seen on a first-come, first served basis and may choose one of the following treatments free, cleaning, filing or extraction. The first 75 patients are guaranteed to be seen.
