Celebrating our veterans

Geraldine High School Student Government Association hosted the 50th annual Veterans Day Program on Thursday in the gymnasium. Veterans from around the county were recognized for their service.

Above: Col. Ret. Bob Reynolds, who served in Desert Storm and five times in the Iraq War, was the guest speaker at the event. His speech was directed towards the students to teach them about what it means to serve your country and what it means to honor your veterans.

The veterans were also given a complementary lunch sponsored by Liberty Bank and catered by James’ BBQ.
