Teddy Gentry’s 6th Annual Singing With The Stars

The group Alabama’s Fan Appreciation Week is June 20 through 23. Mark your calendars now to support Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook as they celebrate 50 years of music.

The opening event is Teddy Gentry’s Singing With The Stars, Thursday, June 20 at 6 p.m. at the Tom Bevill Lyceum on the campus of Northeast Alabama Community College on Highway 35 in Powell. Proceeds benefit the DeKalb County Children’s Advocacy Center.

Along with a concert by Teddy Gentry and the Rockit City Band, there will also be performances featuring talented young singers from DeKalb, Jackson, and Etowah Counties. A panel of judges and the audience will be voting to determine the top three winners as they compete for first, second, and third place prizes.

The singers are: Whitney Bone, Reagan Mason, and Ella Ferguson from Ruhama School; Katie Coots, Fyffe; Daisy Hernandez, Valley Head; Nathan Young, Ider; Erin Womack, Fort Payne; Laney Travis, Homeschool; Sidney King, Plainview; Anna Beth McSpadden, Henagar; Addison Lee, Moon Lake; Madison Morgan, Sylvania; Hailey Haston, Crossville; Hillary Green, Section; and Erica Green, Sardis.

Tickets may be purchased on location the day of the show or by calling the Advocacy Center at 256-997-9700. Tickets for adults are $15.00, and tickets for students are $8.00.
