Geraldine welcomes Music in the Park

The Music in the Park event will be held in the Geraldine Town Park located at 13101 County Road 52 Geraldine, AL 35974.

IC Radio of Geraldine welcomes visitors from the surrounding areas to its Music in the Geraldine Park event Saturday, May 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

IC Radio or “In Christ” Radio is a local internet-based radio station also airing on Channel 182, Horizon Television on Charter Communications, Facebook Live and other social media platforms.

Radio Host and Owner Donna Feazell welcome guests to a day of music, food and fun at Geraldine Park.

“There will be various food vendors, sponsor vendors and music from Point of Honor of Rainsville, Chosen Generation from Geraldine and Ricky Luster Sr. from Lake Forest North Carolina coming in specially from the event,” she said.

Along with the various groups, Feazell said there would be various giveaways throughout the day including restaurant cards and door prizes.

“The splash pad will be open for the kids and the Geraldine Farmers Market will be open at that time too,” she said.

Also in attendance will be the Cowboy Church who will have two chuck wagons with fruit cobbler.

“Special thanks to Geraldine Mayor Chuck Ables, he has been absolutely phenomenal,” said Feazell. “He's been such a huge help.”

She encourages attendees to bring a chair and some change for drinks.

“We are also going to have various politicians attending including John Merrill, secretary of state of Alabama,” Feazell said.

Feazell hosts “Afternoon Drive Home,” a radio show which since its inception in April of 2015 has grown to include city, county, state, national and political events. The station is also home to Southern Gospel, Country Gospel, Bluegrass Gospel, Sacred Harp, Country, Jazz, Folk and Rock music amongst many more.
