Phillip Hamman Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution Awards FPHS Student Junior ROTC Medal

The Phillip Hamman DAR Chapter, Fort Payne, recently awarded Fort Payne High School student, Jade Robison, with the Daughters of the American Revolution Junior ROTC medal. Ms. Robison was awarded the medal based on academic excellence, dependability, good character, leadership, and a fundamental and patriotic understanding of the importance of the Reserve Officers Training Corps. As cadet second lieutenant, Jade is the FPHS battalion S3 (operations) officer. As platoon leader, she is in charge of a platoon of 24 cadets and a member of the JROTC rifle team. Cadet Robison will attend the US Air Force Academy Summer Seminar in Arizona this summer.
