Congratulations to Jo Ann Stricklin of Portersville, who has been named Woman of the Year by the DeKalb County Homemakers and Community Leaders club. Stricklin has been a member of the Portersville HCL for 22 years and has held numerous local and statewide leadership positions. She is an active member of Big Valley Church of God and volunteers for a number of activities, including 4-H, the hospital auxiliary, Red Cross, Toys for Tots and Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
