GERALDINE — The Geraldine Bulldogs stormed to a 49-0 triumph over Brindlee Mountain in Friday night’s Class 3A, Region 7 matchup.

The Bulldogs improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Region 7 standings heading into next weekend’s region clash at New Hope.

Geraldine scored touchdowns on its first four rushing plays of the night. The Bulldogs didn’t attempt a pass during the contest.

Geraldine led 36-0 in the opening quarter. It was 49-0 at intermission.

The Bulldogs’ statistical leaders were:

• Austin King, one carry for 19 yards and a touchdown

• Andrew Hall, one attempt for 61 yards and a score

• Jamison Rowell, one rush for 26 yards and a TD

• Chase Kermondy, one carry for 20 yards and a score

• Sebastian Totherow, one rush for 5 yards and a touchdown

• PJ Watts, two carries for 40 yards and one TD

• Anthony Baldwin, 12 carries for 56 yards

• Omar Herrera, four rushes for 5 yards

• Kyle Thackerson returned a punt 28 yards for a Bulldog touchdown.

Totherow paced Geraldine’s defense with nine tackles. Baldwin contributed an interception while Brandon East made a fumble recovery.
