Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs host Lieutenant General Joe Cosumano, USA, Ret.

President Elect Diana Goss (left) hosted LTG Joe Cosumano during the Nov. 2 club meeting. General Cosumano reflected on what it meant to him to be a veteran, citing examples across his career spanning over thirty years of active duty service in the United States Army. General Cosumano’s career culminated with his assignment as Space and Missile Defense Commander, an organization uniquely responsible for developing space and missile defense programs where he was in charge of over 2,000 scientists and engineers in Huntsville, Ala. He is currently assisting Fort Payne’s mayor by charing the committee for the funding and completion of the Patriots Memorial Park in downtown Fort Payne.
