Gaines graduates with doctorate in nursing practice leadership

Tennille Gaines, DNP, CRNP, graduated Dec. 19, 2020 from Chamberlain University, receiving her Doctorate in nursing practice healthcare systems leadership. DeKalb Regional Medical Center congratulated her on the achievement, which positions Gaines to assume leadership roles in healthcare services that result in quality improvement and increased patient safety. Gaines is a pediatric nurse practitioner at DeKalb Clinic, where she has worked for more than 17 years. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a certified registered pediatric nurse practitioner. Chamberlain University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
