The Town of Valley Head held its annual Earth Day celebration last Wednesday. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, town employees conducted a drive-through event instead of it being in the park in conjunction with the school, as done in years past.
Youth size t-shirts were given out at city hall to commemorate the 50th annual Earth Day. Participants could drive to city hall, honk their car horn three times and were encouraged to wear sunglasses and make homemade Earth Day signs to receive their Town of Valley Head Earth Day shirt.
