100-year-old grist mill stops at downtown Farmers Market

he Fort Payne Main Street Farmer's Market got a treat Sept. 5 when Burwyn Brewer brought his 100-year-old grist mill to the Saturday morning market to grind and sell corn meal. Brewer's grandfather, Lesley Brewer, operated a grist mill on Grassy Mountain near Grant, according to an article in The Advertiser-Gleam featured last year. Pictured is Burwyn Brewer.
