Administration, city honor 2020 seniors

Fort Payne City Council contributes to signs recognizing each high school senior displayed on campus lawn

Above, Fort Payne City Council members Wade Hill and Lynn Brewer, Council President Brian Baine, Council members Johnny Eberhart and Red Taylor take a moment to pose with City Superintendent of Education Jim Cunningham and Fort Payne High School Principal Brian Jett on the FPHS campus, where the Class of 2020 is being celebrated with special signs. The city donated $6,000 for the signs to recognize the seniors since their final year was interrupted and schools closed early in an unprecedented act to limit community spread of the novel coronavirus during a global pandemic.
