Busy week for Main Street

Pete the Cat Day was held at the DeKalb Theatre in downtown Fort Payne on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pete himself greeted children downtown and Fort Payne native and author James Dean signed Pete the Cat memorabilia. The event was the second of its kind and is set for the first Saturday of August each year.
