Rotary hosts The Gigawatts at recent meeting

Rotarian John Mathieu (left) hosted the Fort Payne High School Robotics Team, aka ‘The Gigawatts’ on March 23. The students provided an enthusiastic rundown on their robotics development and competition across the State, as they truly place Fort Payne on the map among serious robotics league contenders. Pictured from left to right are Mathieu, coach Jamie McClung, Caitlyn O’Shields, Cam Nappier, Laurel Shugart, Logan Hairell, Clark McClung and ‘McFly’ their robot (foreground).
