Cereal topple makes donating food more fun

A month-long food drive concluded on Thursday at Little Ridge Intermediate School, where 410 boxes of cereal donated by students were set up like dominoes and retiring educator Beverly Sutton was given the honor of starting the chain reaction as the kids watched in the gym. According to Principal Jennifer List, she got the idea from seeing YouTube videos of other schools doing similar events. The cereal boxes were donated to the Marked for Life ministry, which offers compassionate assistance to local people in need of emergency food and shelter.
