Mayor proclaims Feb. 20-27 FFA Week

Fort Payne Mayor Brian Baine proclaimed Feb. 20-27 to be National FFA Week. He presented the proclamation to local FFA President Brody Bruce as Fort Payne High School agriculture teacher Gary Bell looked on. FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America, but the national organization voted in 1988 to expand its focus to reflect growing diversity and new opportunities in the industry of agriculture.
