Editor,

I am writing concerning an incident I saw the 7th of this month.

Coming from Walmart on Glenn Blvd toward town, a tiny kitten had been dropped from a car and of course it was run over and killed. How could anyone be so cruel?

Whoever dropped it could have carried it to the pound, and if not adopted, it would have died peacefully. If people would have their animals spayed or neutered, we wouldn’t have so many to put to sleep.

It wouldn’t hurt if some of our vets would take one day a month and help people that couldn’t have the money to have them fixed. We could solve a lot of animals put to sleep, well killed.

I hope the person who dropped the kitten on the road feels guilty. I love animals.
