Ten days ago, I wrote a letter to you concerning our veterans. I wanted it published before Veterans Day and it wasn’t. I called your office and talked to you about it. You stated that you received the letter. I was told that it would be published before Veterans Day, but it wasn’t in the paper the last two printings. To say the least, I was disappointed.

You advertise in your paper “Share your voice,” which I do from time to time. By not publishing my letter violates the first amendment to the Constitution. It is my right to express my opinion to the public.

I know that news media controls the news, opinions and the information that goes to the public.

When I sign my name to what I write, I take sole responsibility for the content.

You have my permission to print this letter in your paper. Maybe you want to take the fifth amendment on this matter.
