Jesus was born to Mary, and she was a virgin at the time. Mary knew no man; she was impregnated by the Holy Ghost.
Jesus lived in the flesh less than 35 years on this Earth. He never ruled as a king, yet he had power to conquer and to rule. He wasn’t a college professor, nor did he go to school or college; yet, he knew what was in man. He was not a millionaire or rich while living in this world; yet the universe was at his command. He worked as a carpenter by trade under the guardianship of Joseph, who dwelt in Nazareth of Galilee. He never wrote any books, songs or poetry; yet he was the wisest man that ever lived on this Earth. He knew the Word of God, for he was the Word, and he was God in the flesh. He had no doctor’s degree, did not practice medicine; yet he healed the sick, raised the dead, and fed the multitude. Jesus’ ministry lasted approximately three and a half years. During that time, he conquered death, hell and the grave. Jesus took the authority away from Satan and defeated the curse that was placed by man.
Jesus died and rose from the grave. He was in that grave three days and three nights. Forty days later he sent to us the “comforter” or the Holy Ghost. He is living inside the hearts of those that have been redeemed.
Jesus is worthy of our praise and worship. Men can never repay that debt we owe him. In this world he suffered, shed his blood on the cross. He died and rose from the grave. Glory be to my God. Hallelujah. By his death, I don’t have to go to hell and spend eternity in the lake of fire.
