Today is officially the Times-Journal’s last daily edition. The T-J will pick up on Saturday and into next week with its new three-day print cycle.

We’re excited about this change, and we hope we can expand our coverage to better serve this community. The Times-Journal will print every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday-Sunday, and we will begin publishing a monthly DeKalb Living magazine. The Times-Journal is not going away. We feel like this will allow us to be even more present and active in this community.

We have offered this community 139 years of service, and we are doing everything we can to ensure we are here for another 139 years. We’re excited to see where these changes will take us.

Our View is the opinion of the Times-Journal’s editorial board, which includes Publisher Tricia Clinton-Dunne and Managing Editor Bradley Roberts.
