Editor,

“Jesus loves the little children of the world”. No greater words have ever been spoken. Jesus did not discriminate because of race, gender or social status.

Children are not to blame for the situations in which they are born. They rely on kind and loving people to foster or adopt.

Fort Payne is in need of loving families to Foster children . Until lately, I never realized the impact one person could have in a child’s life through the

Foster program.

Every child should be afforded the same daycare opportunity, however that’s not the case at a local daycare. According to employees, children that receive government subsidies do not qualify to participate in the daycare program.

Private pay does not even come into consideration. After being referred to as “Those People,” it is for the best that children aren’t subjected to such bias. In my heart children are a blessing from God and I thank each and every family that will open their hearts and homes to help.

Please, consider becoming a foster parent. Any information you need can be obtained through the Department of Human Resources. Please change a child’s life.
