Editor,

I wonder what happened these days when folks didn’t have to be responsible for what they tell or say?

These days a person can listen to the news, and it may not be the truth.

You can discredit someone, tell lies on people and ruin their character. Reporters used to have sources to base their facts.

It used to be if you tell lies on folks or slander them, it wound up in court in litigation. There have been people that has been ruined or hurt by people telling lies.

Many times folks’ opinions are told for facts. I have my own opinions about different issues, but that doesn’t mean that they are right. We are all humans, and we can be wrong. These are necessary facts.

I am over 76 years old, and I never seen so much division and hatred as I have now.

We are divided so much it could be in the downfall of this nation. Folks don’t think anything by “cutting one another’s throats” or ruining their careers.

History has a way of repeating itself. This happened during the war between the states in 1860-1865. The truth will always stand when this world goes up in flames. Luke 21:33 K.I.V.

There are folks who want to erase the past. What has happened can not be changed.

Folks are divided. It’s worse than it has ever been on earth since the beginning of time.
