Editor,

Generally, I vote Republican. The mid-term elections that’s coming up in November, it is vital that folks get out and vote. It is as important as the presidential election because regardless of which party —Republican or Democrat— we are going to have to put up with them for the next four years. Voting is a blood bought privilege, so let’s take advantage of it.

The left-wing of our government is trying to bring heaven on Earth. It is the federal government rule over the people. Everyone is equal as dictated by the government.

This calls for a bunch of laws and regulations. This simply will not work.

Privileges are not free, someone will have to pay for them. This principle calls for higher taxes and regulations.

The churches and denominations in our land should help the poor and the widows and the fatherless, and our government should not be obligated. This is what Christianity and true religion is about (James 1:26-27).

I do not want the government or any particular party telling me how to live my life. I have the Bible as my guide. Our government has the constitution to guide it, and certainly its based on the Bible.
