I would like to commend our many fine Police Officers during this National Law Enforcement Week.

Many of them I know and admire personally. When he or she leave home each morning or evening it is not a given that they will return to their families.

There have been many killed and attacked around our nation, but thankfully none in Fort Payne.

I wonder who the perpetrators plan to call when there is an accident or some intruder is breaking into their homes?

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God — Matthew 5:9
