As of this date, [Jan. 18] we have been under quarantine for almost two weeks on the account of the flu virus.

I dread to see the holiday season, Christmas, come around on the account of this. We have visitors around this time of year that don’t come around other months of the year. Some of these folks are infected with the flu virus.

Most of the elderly folks have weak immune systems. Plenty of these folks have health issues themselves.

If you are exposed and infected, please don’t visit the nursing home.

This makes it rough on our residents and our staff. Our staff have to take care of us, and they can’t afford to be sick.

I have a desire for visitors when things are well.

There is much loneliness in this place.

Visiting should be done year-round. If you are infected, I don’t want you around.
