Rams soccer teams split senior night matchups

The Sylvania Rams varsity soccer teams split their matchups with Whitesburg Christian Thursday, with the Lady Rams dominating their way to an 8-0 win and the varisty boys team falling by a score of 1-0.

The Lady Rams had two players record hat tricks in the win as Jaci Ortega and Rachel Bewley netted three goals each for Sylvania. Ortega also had one assist.

Lauren Bewley and Taylor Thrash scored a goal each, Sadie Giza had one assist and Libby Privett had two saves in the net for the Lady Rams.

In the boys' game, goalkeeper Jake McSpadden recorded 16 saves.
