Fyffe High School is aiming to help build northeast Alabama’s next great basketball players at its Future Stars Basketball Camp next week.

The camp is for boys and girls entering grades 3-6 from any school who anticipate playing basketball in the upcoming season. Pee-wee coaches are also welcome.

The camp will run from July 16-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fyffe’s Mike Cochran Gymnasium where participants will be instructed by Fyffe varsity boys head basketball coach, Neal Thrash.

Registration costs $25 per player and parents or guardians can begin registering their child at 7:45 a.m. on Monday at the gymnasium.

Campers are asked to arrive 20 minutes early wearing proper basketball attire and shoes to be ready right at 8:30 a.m.

Participants are also asked to bring water or sports beverages to stay hydrated.

For more information on the camp, or to pre-register your child, contact Fyffe varsity boys head coach Neal Thrash at (256) 899-9903.
