The Ider Bullpen Club is hosting its first Super Recreational T-Ball Tournament to raise money for the Ider High School baseball program.

The tournament will be played on March 17 and 18 at the Ider Town Park.

Team entry into the tournament cost $25 per team and the last day to enter is March 12.

Admission is $3 per person and kids who are ages six and under may enter for free. There will also be a concession stand at the fields.

Each game of the tournament will run on a 60-minute time limit and game rules will be based on 5-6 year old dixie youth coach pitch league standards.

Tournament seeding will be decided after pool play and the tournament will be in a single-elimination format.

The championship game of the tournament will be a complete game with no time limit.

Both the champion and runner-up teams will receive trophies after the final game.

For more information, or to register a team for the tournament, contact Ider head baseball coach Casey Gaddis at 256-605-7720.
