Fort Payne to host junior tennis clinic

Fort Payne High School will host a junior tennis clinic over summer at the school’s tennis courts.

The clinic will consist of four 1 hour sessions over four Saturdays. The dates of the sessions are June 4, 11, 25 and July 9.

Sessions for participants who are 10-years-old and under will run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Sessions for players who are between 11 and 14-years-old will start at 10:15 a.m. and end at 11:15 a.m.

The cost to register for the clinic is $10.00 and that covers all four sessions.

Children participating will only need to bring a water bottle and gym shoes. Tennis racquets will be provided for clinic participants.

Fort Payne High School tennis head coach Dan Berry will teach and instruct participants. Berry is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association.

All children are welcome to register and no previous experience playing tennis is required.

If you plan to attend the junior tennis clinic, please call (256) 599 – 5182 or (256) 630 – 1213.
