Fyffe's A team celebrates after beating West Brook 27-0 in the Super Bowl.

Fyffe youth football program brought home two championships last Saturday in Albertville.

Both the A and B teams defeated West Brook in the Super Bowl last Saturday. The A team won 27-0 and the B team won 35-6. The C team also made the Super Bowl, but were defeated by Sardis 14-0.

Fyffe’s commissioner John Fowler said it was a proud day.

“It was a really exciting for our program for all three teams to make it there,” Fowler said. “It was a big deal for us and we’re real proud of that.”

He said all three teams were special.

“The A team had some key players move in and really brought the team up. They have been playing together for six years and they are a good group of kids,” Fowler said. “The B team is a real gritty bunch of kids. The C team only had two guys that ever played before and they beat Gadsden City 27-0 during the season. I was proud of the way they played.”
